About Koru Ultrasound & Care Centre
The Koru Ultrasound and Care Centre practice in central Richmond opened in January 2011, to become New Zealand's first combined diagnostic ultrasound imaging practice and care centre incorporating natural therapies.
Koru was born out of the shared desire of it's founders to deliver ultrasound imaging with a patient-centred approach to service.
To this end, Koru’s contemporary custom-built premises utilise modern imaging equipment whilst also providing en-suite ultrasound viewing facilities for those wishing to bring children, whānau members or friends with them.
Our ultrasound suite is equipped with two TV plasma screens and an en-suite child-friendly play area suitable for your children, friends or whanau to relax and watch your scan.
Our mission
Our mission is to provide specialist medical imaging and care, delivered with a passion for exceptional service for both the referrer and their client. We are accreditated by the Ministry of health, ACC, Maternity services, Health link and the Fetal Medicine Foundation, London.
Koru Ultrasound is an Affiliated Provider to Southern Cross Health Society for Selected Services
